Our history

Originally from a miller's family, Champagne Payer was created in 1854 in the town of Romery.

Subsequently, between crisis and revolution, the winegrowers helped each other and united in cooperatives.

In 1954, my grandfather, Camille PAYER, was one of the 11 founders of the Fleury-la-Rivière Cooperative.

In 1962, my father, Marcel PAYER, was one of the 24 founders of the

Regional Cooperative of Champagne Wines.

Our know-how

We work with nature throughout the seasons to make you appreciate our best Champagnes.

In this spirit, we produce our cuvées in an authentic way, thus perpetuating the know-how of which we are the custodians.

Since November 2021, we have been certified High Environmental Value.

Our Domain

Farm of 5.40 hectares in the communes of Fleury-la-Rivière, Damery and Vauciennes.

We work on the slopes of the Marne Valley

characterized by marl soils and limestone subsoils promulgating mineral aromas to our Champagne.

We are committed to a sustainable viticulture approach.

Our current selections

Cuvée Vintage 2006

50% Chardonnay

41% Pinot Noir
